Hair-Fall Is Possible To Be Controlled Through A Healthy Diet And Care

This might come as a surprise for many, but our scalp has around 100,000 hair follicles. During the course of a day, there is a loss of about 100 of them, and they are supposed to grow back in a month or so.

When most men and women get to the age of 40, there is an increase in the level of the byproduct of testosterone hormone.  Since varying levels of testosterone are responsible for our hair getting thin or not growing back at all, there is an imbalance in the distribution of hair on our heads at this age. Hair is found to be thin in many cases, and in many more, the hairline at the forehead begins to recede.

Increasing age is by far the most commonly known cause of hair-loss. Aging is a process that all of us undergo, but the effects of aging on our bodies can always be controlled by resorting to a good and healthy diet.

The ideal diet for anyone looking to counter hair-loss is one that has all kinds of green vegetables, carbohydrates, water and garlic. A good and proper diet is one of the ways to control the process of aging and its effects on hair and skin.

Hair-fall is caused by the deficiency  of vital nutrients like vitamins and minerals in the daily diet in some cases.  It is always good to have a diet rich in iron, copper and zinc if you really want to grow some good hair on your scalp.

The problem is compounded by the realization that a deficiency of minerals in the body always pushes down the chances of a good circulation of blood throughout the body, including the scalp. This way, hair on the scalp don't get adequate nutrition from blood, and tend to fall off.
