Mornings can be considered the most productive time of the day, and it’s more than significant that you start your day with a few good practices. Here are some of the best things you can try just after an hour of waking up.
Start with water
The first drink every morning should be a glass of water. If you are not keen on plain water, you can go for warm lemon water or even lukewarm water with a pinch of cinnamon. Make sure to hydrate the body before going to the gym or office.
Get the routine stretches
No matter whether you exercise in the morning, it is pertinent that you do a few stretches, right after leaving the bed. Stretching is the best way to get the muscles ready for the rest of the day and it works greatly for creating more energy for the day.
Go for yoga or meditation
Many people don’t like the idea of using machines at the gym early in the morning, but that doesn’t mean one has to skip exercise! Yoga poses are great for maintaining fitness and is best practiced close to dawn. You can add 15 to 30 minutes of meditation for a better routine.
Most of us have heard for endless number of times that breakfast is the most vital meal of the day. Ideally, you should have your breakfast within an hour and half of waking up, which helps in kick starting the metabolism and aids the digestion process.
